Adam Pogue Three Legged Ottoman
Adam Pogue is a textile artist based in Los Angeles. He began his career working in apparel and has since created his own textile appliqué language, inspired by Korean Pojagi and quilting techniques found throughout the world. Adam works with Commune on product and special projects using textile remnants and vintage fabrics that Commune finds along the way. Obi fabrics from a trip to Japan, army canvas used for upholstery, and discarded carpet and drapery are all reconfigured to create a new textile experience.
Mixed materials; cotton patchwork with linen and silk thread, and brass hoop. Upholstered on down feather with oak lags. This ottoman is one of a kind.
