Commune and Heath Ceramics Present: The Vessels

Introducing The Vessels, a design collaboration between ps://t.umblr.com/y. We combined unglazed earthenware clay with bone, green, and black glazes. Each item is hand thrown and glazed, mixing between matte and shiny finishes. Take a look at a few snapshots of the development process. Alex Reed, the Heath Clay Studio Manager hand threw and glazed each item. Commune and Heath have worked together since 2008, both of us making goods for the present time and culture, that we intend to live forever. Our collaborations take us from showroom to place setting, friendship to tile; and now this…a feast for the senses and soul.
