The Durham Hotel

Interiors and branding for boutique hotel in Durham, North Carolina. The renovation included converting a historic bank building from the 1960’s into a 50-room hotel and lobby restaurant and rooftop bar run by James Beard Award winning chef, Andrea Reusing. Inspiration was drawn from the building’s architecture as well as the work of artists Josef and Anni Albers and their colleagues during the heyday of the Black Mountain College in nearby Asheville.
